Project Background

Hereford FC Limited is a football club with a proud history dating back to 1924, committed to supporting local charities and community initiatives. When the club planned to install LED lighting, they had already secured 70% funding for their project but needed the remaining 30% to complete their upgrade. Acquiring full grant support was key to complete the project and reducing energy costs.

What we did

Hereford FC approached us to secure the rest of the funding for the installation of LED lighting at their club. The aim was to complete their project with a full grant to support their sustainability initiatives. Here is what we did:

• Conducted a thorough search to identify suitable sustainability grant opportunities for the club

• Arranged a free site audit to assess project requirements and funding eligibility

• Agreed to apply for the most effective opportunity to acquire the remaining 30% of funding

• Collected all key information to prepare a strong grant application

• Fully prepared and submitted the grant application on behalf of Hereford FC

• Liaised with the funders throughout the process to ensure a smooth application

• Successfully secured the remaining 30% funding for the LED lighting installation

• Supported the club through receiving the grant and implementing the project

  
  

This funding allowed Hereford FC to complete the installation of LED lighting at no cost. He received immediate returns through lower electricity bills and a more sustainable image. The club can now redirect funds toward community initiatives and continue supporting local charities, strengthening its positive impact both on and off the pitch.
